Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly prevalent in the cancer data field, expanding rapidly and transforming how data collection is both managed and utilized. With the fast pace of technological advancements, it can be challenging to determine where to begin when exploring or implementing available AI tools related to cancer surveillance.
To support this need, NAACCR has added an Artificial Intelligence Resources section to its Interoperability Resources website. This collection of resources is not meant to be exhaustive, and many additional resources may exist, however, it may provide a valuable starting point for central cancer registries.
These resources can help registries enhance their understanding of AI best practices, conduct risk assessments, stay informed about available tools and products, and explore articles, blogs, and development platforms related to AI. These resources are intended to build awareness and support informed decision-making in adopting AI technologies.
Visit NAACCR’s Artificial Intelligence Resources webpage to begin exploring these tools and insights.
